2. 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4..."Praise be to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

"Whatever may be our situation, we have a Guide to direct our way; whatever our perplexities we have a sure Counselor; whatever our sorrow, bereavement, or loneliness, we have a sympathizing Friend. 8. Lamentations 3:31-33 - "For men are not cast off by the Lord forever. Though He brings grief, He will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. For He does not willingly bring affliction or grief to the children of men."MAY YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN HOLD YOU WITH STRONG ARMS;
MAY JESUS GIVE YOU HIS PEACE THAT PASSES UNDERSTANDING;
AND MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT SUSTAIN YOU WITH HOPE.
MAY THE GOD OF ALL LIFE KEEP YOU ALWAYS IN THE SHELTER OF HIS LOVE.
*THESE CAN BE USEFUL for a case where we don't know if they ever chose to dedicate their life to Jesus before they died. The rest of the family need comfort.
